Are you able to forgive and forget? Are you able to forgive and move on? These are two very deep questions that I encourage you to truly contemplate. The answer has the ability to change your life.

Why Should I?

Many of you are thinking these exact words as you begin to read this. Why should I forgive that person for what they did to me? It was a terrible act. They shouldn't have done it. It was mean. It hurt me greatly. While all of these things maybe true, the answer doesn't lie in those questions.

Do It For You

When we decide to forgive someone for what they did or said to you, we aren't forgiving that person for their benefit. It is for OURS! We are doing it for our inner peace. So we can move on without that deep hurt. Many times the person that did the hurtful act or said the mean words, has long moved on and may not even realize the hurt they inflicted. This is all about you and nobody else. They don't even have to know you are doing the forgiving because this is an inside job. One that is done for you, by you and with only you.

Give It A Try

I encourage you to truly give it a try. Not half way or three quarters. Go all in. Sit in silence and do the work. Forgive that person with all your heart and soul. The positive effects on your life will be profound.

In a world that pulls you in so many different directions all day, everyday, are you making yourself a priority? Are you taking time for you? To do the things that you want to do. Now, more than ever, this is a must. The time is now to take care of you.

Giving More Than We Are Receiving

We all live in a world that has told us our entire lives, to give, give give. But if we continue to give to others, more than we receive, what is going to happen? Our giving bucket will run empty, and when it does, who is going to fill it back up? The only one than can, is us. We are responsible for filling our own bucket.

Filling Your Own Bucket

When I say, fill your own bucket, what does that mean? It means making yourself a priority. Putting yourself ahead of everything this. Taking time to do things for you, because it's what you want to do. It can be a simple as going for a walk, stopping at your favorite café for a coffee, or sitting and meditating for ten minutes. You will know in the moment what you need to refill your bucket, so take the time to do it. You deserve it. You are worth it.

You Are Important

Who is the most important person to you and in your life? You are! While the world may tell you this is selfish, it is actually selfless. If you are not making yourself a priority, who will? You are important. You deserve to be put first. If we are not putting ourselves first and making ourselves a priority, we will never be able to give of ourselves as we wish to for a sustained amount of time, simply because we will get burned out. You deserve to make yourself a priority, so you can be of service and Bless the world with your gifts.

Are You Ready?

Are you ready to make yourself a priority? Are you ready to make yourself the most important person in your life? Are you ready to fill your bucket everyday with what you need so you can give of yourself and Bless the world with your gifts? Your soul awaits and so does the world.

How Many Times Have You Asked Yourself This?

This is such a simple, but very profound question. A question that deserves to be asked regularly. One that requires some deep soul searching for the answer. A question that may require some deep conversations with not only yourself but a few close friends to uncover the answer.

What Will You Discover?

When you ask the question, 'Who Am I", what do you expect the answer to be? What do you want the answer to be? Who do you want others to tell you you are? Are you ready for the truth?

What Is The Answer?

When you ask the question "Who am I", what answers do you hear? Are you an elite athlete? Are you a doctor? Are you an electrician? While these maybe some of the answers you hear, they are actually not who you are, rather what you do. They are how you identify yourself in the world, but not who you are.

So Then, Who Am I?

You are a spiritual being made in the likeness of God, having a human experience. You are Divine. You are one with All That Is. You are anything and everything you can imagine you are. Yes, you are all that and more. It is truly remarkable. You are remarkable. All you have to do is believe it. That is when the magic starts.
